Test Your Hypothesis

“Get the heck outside.”

This is serial entrepreneur Steve Blank’s advice for finding product/market fit.

He goes on:

“As smart as you are, there is no way you’re smarter than the collective intelligence of your potential customers.”

You can hypothesize all day long what your customers might want.

But until you ask potential ones, you’ll never know for sure.

Don’t just shove a sample in their face and ask if they want to buy it.

Ask for feedback.

Ask them to roast it.

Learn what they like about it.

You need to know every little detail.

That’s how you find true product/market fit.

Get outside, in the weeds, and get those hands dirty.
