Seems Fitting

It seems fitting to write about Tyler Denk.

After all, he’s the mastermind behind this platform I bring you newsletters on.

Denk followed the quintessential startup story: dead broke college kid, scraping together a company out of his dorm room.

Not such a glamorous lifestyle.

A stable job at Deloitte sounded more and more appealing. Humans crave security after all.

Until he was hit with a realization: why accept a boring job where thousands of people have the exact same role (and hate it), when you could be the only one in the world with your title?

Many can claim “Senior Analyst at Deloitte” on LinkedIn, but how many can take “CEO of [insert your company]”?

Only one.

In the choice between the cookie-cutter route and the extraordinary, always pick the latter.
