Risk It Early

Taking risks are easy.

If you take them early enough.

The longer you wait, the harder they get.

A comfortable life becomes more and more comfortable.

And a lot harder to potentially lose.

Altman’s blog I referenced yesterday had a lot of gems—so here’s another idea from it:

“It’s often easier to take risks early in your career; you don’t have much to lose, and you potentially have a lot to gain.”

Time is of the essence.

If you want to start your own company, don’t take 20 years getting comfortable at your cushy corporate job because “I need to save up.”

That’s an just excuse.

Youth is on your side as an entrepreneur more than money.

For that part of my audience that’s my age: take advantage of it.

And for the older part of my audience: make up for lost time.

Although early is optimal, it’s never too late to start.
