Less is More

I’m an over-doer.

I try to do everything.

But knowing what not to do is equally as important as knowing what to do.

This is an added layer to prioritization.

Prioritize what you need to do.

Then identify “what not to prioritize” as Coca-Cola CEO James Quincey puts it.

Red, yellow, and green aren’t the only tags you can order tasks by.

Things can be set to do not do.

I often get overstressed trying to get everything done.

Even when I do the important stuff (red tags) first, it can be overwhelming.

Where I see the biggest boost in productivity is when I break out the do not do.

Well it’s not really a label.

More like I delete it from my list altogether.

It sure is a great way to whittle down the to-do list.

And minimize the stress in my brain.

Less is more.
