Gut Check

Do you trust your gut?

It’s a tough skill to pinpoint, but a useful one nonetheless.

Some people have a knack for it, can’t explain why, they just know.

They can tell if a situation doesn’t feel right. Or if it does.

First person that comes to my mind is James Bond (okay I know he’s a fictional person—hear me out).

His level of instinct and ability to sense his environment is intriguing.

It’s something I think we can learn from and apply to business too.

The “6th sense” that is.

ActionIQ founder/CEO Tasso Argyros attributes their rapid success to his gut feelings.

“Trust your instincts. When I feel something is wrong, it usually is.”

Like I said, this is a tough one to pinpoint.

I can’t tell you how to do it.

I’m not even sure I’m that good at it myself.

But what I can offer is this.

The next time that little voice in your head is telling you something:

Listen to it.
