Copycat
Starting a business is easy is.
Building and sustaining it not so much, but starting is.
You can use that ease to your advantage, but your competitors have the same edge. It’s not much of a leg up anymore.
So what is?
Groove founder Alex Turnbull still sees hope in this otherwise grim scenario.
“While it’s easier than ever to build a product, it’s still not easy to build a healthy business.”
Starting is the easy part—there’ll be lots of imitators.
I’ve seen it first hand writing on 𝕏.
90% of the guys I started out with back in December have quit.
What they don’t realize is that it can take months or even years to truly tell if your idea is viable or not.
Like fine wine, your ideas need time to age and mature.
So don’t give them up at the first roadblock.
In the world of business, persistence is rewarded over intellect.
There will be copycats but they will not last.
