Compound Yourself
There’s only one of you.
And one of me.
While individuality is our greatest competitive advantage—there’s one stark disadvantage to it.
It’s hard to multiply us.
But it’s only hard because we’re too focused on linear opportunities.
OpenAI’s Sam Altman shares his advice: “Be willing to let small opportunities go to focus on potential step changes.”
It’s not that we can’t multiply our impact, but we have to be strategic.
Which starts with seeking out compounding opportunities.
Sam continues, “Focus on adding another zero to whatever you define as your success metric—money, status, impact on the world, or whatever.”
Create systems, automate tasks, and prioritize moving the needle.
Compound yourself.
