To Change or Not To Change?
Nobody likes change.
Except when things aren’t working—then we run to it.
Many entrepreneurs fall into the trap of making radical changes to their business the second something doesn’t seem to work. But does it actually stimulate growth?
Kyle Racki, co-founder of Proposify, suggests that just because you can do something new, doesn’t mean you should.
Building momentum in one direction is what ultimately leads you to success, not uprooting your entire business every 3 months.
If you identify a disconnect in your core business model, by all means, make a shift. You can’t outwork that.
On the other hand, if you launch a beta only to be met with negative feedback, that’s not a sign to switch markets. It’s a sign to improve your product and try again.
Stop using change as an excuse to avoid failure.
