Badgering
No I don’t mean the animal.
I mean persistence. You hear it all the time “persistence is key” or “just show up everyday.”
And I’ve posted my fair share of those encouragements on 𝕏.
But it begs the question: what does that really mean?
Yoni Assia has the perfect example.
He knew he wanted to secure a dinner with Warren Buffet and Justin Sun.
It would be huge for his company.
So he badgered them.
He kept on.
And he kept on.
Emails, text, any mode of communication.
Until one day they finally gave in. They agreed to the dinner.
All in all it led Assia to building eToro to $5.5M revenue in its first year.
Now that’s a pretty productive dinner.
And another win for persistence in practice.
Which leads me to a new definition of persistence for you to think on today:
Believing in what you do so strongly that you refuse to take a no.
It’s means believing in yourself.
