Morning all,

I’ve got a crazy week coming up here—but I’ll be doing my best to bring a daily email on schedule.

Company: Cohere
Industry: Technology
Idea: “It’s time for businesses to ‘commit and start adopting’ generative AI”

I’m not sure where I stand on AI for business.

Generative AI at least.

There are a ton of cool tools out there that I’ve tried out myself.

Nothing life changing for me, but enough to make me say “hmmm interesting.”

But on the generative AI side I haven’t experimented as much.

ChatGPT and Midjourney.

It’s a little freaky to be honest.

The best use case I can come up with is generating marketing material.

Even then, the quality of output is still far from good.

A lot of human input is still needed.

For context, Gomez worked at Google and is building an AI company. So he’s opinion is a bit biased.

But for a regular joe like me—I’m not completely sold.

What’re your thoughts on it?
