Yusuf's take on problem solving passion

Good morning :)

TGIF — it’s been a busy week. A good one, but busy.

I landed an new customer at work with several more hot leads on the way.

Entrepreneur: Azmat Yusuf
Company: Citymapper
Industry: Technology
Idea: “What’s interesting to me? What am I going to be good at? What’s actually going to solve a meaningful problem?”

In an otherwise very boring presentation, Yusuf gives this 3 question framework for narrowing down your business idea.

If you can answer the same thing to all 3 you’ve struck gold.

Like I said the speech was a drag.

Be glad I watched it so you don’t have to.

But it was worth it for this insight.

I’ve been slowly figuring these questions out in my own entrepreneurial journey. Too bad it’s taken me 5 years though.

Again be thankful—you’re learning it in all of 60 seconds.

When you solve a meaningful problem that you’re passionate about, it’s game over.

You’ve hit the jackpot.

Yusuf was tired of inaccessible public transport so he designed an app to give wheel chair users visibility for safe travel.

Big problem meets → awesome solution → happy customers → successful Yusuf.
