$26B Pitch
Stories sell.
I’ve seen it on 𝕏 a lot recently—platitudes are out, stories are in.
The cool thing is that principle holds true across platforms, brands, and sales scenarios.
Including startup pitches.
Melanie Perkins was rejected over 100 times while pitching Canva, that was until switching to The Three-Act Pitch Structure.
Canva is now worth around $26 billion (yes with a B).
So I’d say it works pretty well.
You’ll follow a traditional story arc:
The Setup
The Conflict
The Resolution
Start with your backstory—how did the idea come about? This is your chance tug at some heartstrings.
Then for the conflict—your “why.” Why should your product exist in the first place?
Lastly, the resolution. Sell the transformation. How will the world be a better place with your product in action?
Paint a picture of your vision.
Pitch like an artist.
